Cross-country skiing on Pokljuka is one of the most popular winter activities in Slovenia. It offers stunning views of the landscape and excellent conditions for the sport to the visitors. Pokljuka high-altitude plateau in the Triglav National Park is known for its natural beauty, fresh air and well-prepared cross-country skiing trails. It is a popular destination for both beginners and experienced skiers.

The trails on Pokljuka are diverse and suitable for different skill levels. When conditions allow, over 50 kilometers of groomed tracks are available. They stretch through forests, wide plateaus and offer beautiful views of the surrounding peaks. Pokljuka is especially known for its connection to the Biathlon World Cup. The biathlon center held numerous major world-class events.

Pokljuka also offers various ski schools where beginners can learn the basics of cross-country skiing or improve their techniques.
